ABOUT ME

Creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurship

...Are some of the characteristics who make me who I am today. I am currently a Junior at the University of Michigan, majoring in Sport Management, and I am originally from Clarkston, Michigan. Some of my biggest passions in life are sports, business, graphic design, and being a leader, and throughout my life, I have been able to connect upon those passions.

An unmatched experience, passion and knowledge for sports

Sports have played a massive role in my life. Throughout summer 2022 and summer 2023, I worked as a full-time Seasonal Marketing Assistant for the Detroit Tigers. Since 2018, I have owned my own Detroit Lions fanpage across social media; creating my own unique graphic designs, video edits, and so on, to over 7,000 followers, with multiple player engagements. Since I could first walk, I have gone to hundreds and hundreds of sporting events for my local Detroit sports teams, including going to London to watch the Detroit Lions play in 2015. The list goes on and on.

Growing up in the restaurant industry

I am originally from Clarkston, Michigan, a small town about 45 minutes outside of Detroit. Throughout my entire life, I grew up living directly above one of my parents' restaurants, 50 feet away from another one of their restaurants, and a block away from two more of their restaurants, in the Union Joints restaurant group. Being inside of the restaurants every day allowed me to pick up strong communication skills, and allowed for me to get a truly one-of-a-kind, first-hand experience as to what it is like inside of a business. Working as a dishwasher and a maintenance worker, starting from when I was 14 years old, built a tremendous amount of character for me.

My love for graphics and marketing

The first book that I read was a book of 1,000 street signs, which I read when I was three. Ever since then, I have had a love for graphic designs. After taking a Photoshop course in middle school, I decided that I wanted to create a place to post my own graphic designs, and so that is when Onepride Nation, my Detroit Lions fanpage, was founded. Over the years, I was able to grow by making graphic designs for Lions players who were fairly unheard of. The 6th rounders, instead of the current star players.
